What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Whatever is bringing you here today, I will use my own professional and personal life experiences to guide our process as we build momentum toward the change you envision for yourself. Working together we can uncover unhelpful patterns to make positive changes in a judgement-free, confidential, and cooperative space.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have focused my practice on supporting families through life cycles transitions beginning with pregnancy through childhood, adolescence, and college. My clinical specialities include social anxiety, depressed mood, and interpersonal stress. I am also trained by Postpartum Support International to work with the unique challenges of pregnancy and postpartum.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT works well for anxiety and depression by helping us connect the dots between our thoughts and feelings.

Psychoeducation

I help clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process by first explaining how it works, why it works, and answering any questions. Our work is collaborative and you will be an educated partner in the process.

Interpersonal

Our struggles do not exist in a bubble. We are affected by our friends, family, bosses, colleagues. Interpersonal Psychotherapy focuses on strengthening relationships with those we spend time with to improve mood, decrease anxiety, and build self-esteem.
