It is my calling to assist and advocate for others in their journey towards mental health and wellness. I have partnered with clients battling mood disorders, trauma and addiction at all levels of care for the last 13 years. “Neurons that fire together, wire together”, so my specialty is delivering trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy with a mindfulness-based approach to integrate experiences and alleviate symptoms. I help clients cultivate the skills they need in order to address underlying shame, self-sabotage and unhealthy coping mechanisms.
I work to provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to begin to process what brings you to therapy in the first place... and then the encouragement and support we all need to create change.
Let’s work together to figure out what IS working and what ISN’T for you....it takes courage to reach out for help. The paths to recovery are as unique as the individual; the relationship with your counselor will help determine your success. I would love to see if we are a fit.
We will examine your thoughts, feelings and behaviors as they relate to your internal experience of life events current and past.
We will work together to help you cultivate the self-compassion needed to integrate experiences and soften the internal critic.
We will examine your thoughts and emotions as they arise in your mind-body and tailor practices that will help you regulate emotions and ease physical symptoms.
