Listening is an art form. From traditional counseling to life coaching, mindfulness I try to make each session unique depending on what you need.I draw on my extensive life experience plus thousands of hours with clients to help you. Please feel free to look on my profile on Psychology Today and my website chriscoachingandcounseling.com for more info. I have been around the block . From being a polish immigrant at age 6, veteran, ex police officer, ex sales rep, divorced twice, father of adult twins,PTSD, numerous friend and family losses plus a life serious pulmonary embolism in 2015 that required 7 days in intensive care I can draw on those life experiences to assist you . I work with adult clients only. I have recently moved to the western mountains of North Carolina ,the Asheville area where I mountain bike and play chess unfortunately I can only do virtual or phone sessions with clients in Florida.Even though I have been through and heard so much from my clients I enjoy being alive and experience the wonder of nature around me. Also my schedule my not reflect certain openings that are available so feel free to contact me directly to see what is currently available. 9044765336

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In my first session you can ask questions about me or not and then we will get right into it. You will know in the first session whether we are a good fit. I don't like a lot of paoerwork.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my empathy and life experience and even after 25 years I still enjoy helping others.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Since I have been a therapist for over 25 yearsI am comfortable using various treatment methods depending on what the client needs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have always used cognitive behavioral therapy the key is helping the client with what keeps them from doing good repetitive behaviors.

EMDR

I took the first EMDR classes back in the mid 90’s . I have helped hundreds of clients using this method in its various forms .

Reality Therapy

There is always the price of admission. It’s about being aware when you make choices in your life what the reality is .
