Hi! I'm Ashley Lavine. I'm an LPC practicing in Arkansas and Texas. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health. I have been in Mental Health for 12 years and a licensed therapist for 6. I serve clients 15-99 and love to help them reach the goals set for themselves. I often see clients who are ready to move forward with the help of therapy.
In our first session together, we will begin with introductions. I will give time for each client to get comfortable and ask any questions they may have. We will discuss preferences and the challenges that bring the client to therapy. From there will design a plan that is most helpful for the client or decide if a referral to another clinician would be best for client.
I have worked with teens, young adults, and women to get to the root of their problems, in order to move ahead. I work with each person to dig deep to find out what the root cause is, then implement action oriented steps to help encourage my client make progress.
I predominately work with teens and women who have experienced trauma and are ready to move forward. Each client does the work required to move ahead and is open to unlearning toxic thoughts and behaviors. Clients feel like they need permission to be free, have difficulty moving past their previous experiences, or do not have the tools needed to help themselves thrive.
I work with clients to ask themselves big questions and seek the answers that they know intrinsically.
I have used this method to help children and teens work through traumas experienced related to abuse.
