I am a licensed mental health counselor with 15 years of experience. I use my personal experiences and professional training to offer solution based counseling to resolve root issues. I have had the fortunate opportunity to travel while in the military and then afterwards as a civilian. These travels have allowed me to experience many different cultures, observe human behaviors, and truly become culturally competent. I have a unique skill of conceptualizing clients, to understand where they have been and then collaboratively work together to identify solutions.

We often undervalue the most simple tools that can help change and awareness. DBT has many components, but mindfulness is a common technique I have used in session to provide solution based options for change, healing, and to gain insight.
