I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor (LCMHCS). I received my master's degree from UNC Greensboro in 2011, and doctoral degree from the University of Florida in 2023. I provide testing services for children and adults for various disorders including autism, adhd, intelligence, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more. In addition to testing services, I provide brief, solution-focused counseling for life transitions, career counseling, executive coaching, strategic business consulting, and financial counseling.
In your first session with me, we'll begin with introductions and an open discussion about your concerns and therapy goals. I'll explain my approach, and together, we'll establish clear objectives for our work. This initial meeting is an opportunity to build rapport and ensure that you feel comfortable and heard in our therapeutic relationship.
My strengths as a provider lie in clinical testing and evaluation, troubleshooting organizational and interpersonal challenges, and empowering individuals and organizations to see and realize their vast potential.
Solution-focused treatment is a brief and goal-oriented therapy approach that focuses on identifying and working toward solutions to specific problems. In this therapy, clients are encouraged to explore exceptions to their issues, envision their preferred future, and develop actionable steps to achieve their goals. It's a forward-looking and strengths-based approach that emphasizes clients' strengths and resources in finding solutions to their challenges.
I provide testing services of personal characteristics including ADHD, Autism, intelligence testing, and more. I also provide testing and evaluation of various mood and anxiety disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and somatic disorders. In person appointments are for clinical testing services. Anyone in North Carolina can present for testing services, however for in person testing, I am located in the Piedmont Triad Region. Initial intake assessments are done via telehealth, then testing sessions are in person and are scheduled after the initial telehealth intake
