Hello! I am Jackeline Balarezo- Ruvalcaba. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life. I have 14 years of experience working within the school district, foster system and young and older adults in mental health. I am very passionate in guiding individual to reach their full potentials and empowering them to meeting their goals.
My communication style is calm, friendly, and personable. I always provide an open space for clients to express themselves free of judgment or guilt. I always listen first and aspire to help clients see their troubles from different perspectives. And I always appreciate them confiding in me.
I like to set clear goals with clients and meet them where they are. I am empathetic and I am great at listening and letting clients know that I am there to help meet their needs. I work with adults and adolescents, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief and loss using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (or “CBT”).
