Life can be difficult to navigate and at times we lose parts of ourselves to work, marriage, children, and /or illness. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and Virgina and take a holistic approach to empower overworked women to reclaim balance, manage chronic health issues, and thrive in their personal and professional lives. My goal is to assist clients in becoming “Pretty Balanced.”

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first session, we'll focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. We'll start by exploring what brought you to counseling, the challenges you're facing, and any specific goals you have in mind. I welcome questions to determine if I would be a good fit for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is empathic listening. I have the ability to listen to what my client is saying and what the client is not saying.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I assist clients with connecting to their thoughts and feelings in a nonjudgement way and defining their personal values. Then we work on committing to making changes that align with those values.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I work with clients to determine how their mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing can hinder or assist in accomplishing their goals.

Motivational Interviewing

Change can be hard. I work with clients to assist in creating the internal motivation to change.
