Hi there! I’m Christina, a licensed clinical social worker passionate about helping people feel empowered to achieve their goals and navigate life’s challenges. I work with individuals from all walks of life—adolescents to adults—who are seeking support for depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, and substance use. In our sessions, I provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can truly be yourself. Together, we’ll take meaningful steps toward understanding your experiences, embracing your strengths, and becoming the best version of yourself. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs. I pull from other modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, and strengths based. Whether you’re looking to heal, grow, or simply feel more in control, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Plus, my friendly dog may pop in to bring some extra comfort and smiles during our sessions! Let’s work together to help you find clarity, confidence, and motivation on your journey. I’m here to hold space for your feelings, provide gentle guidance, and cheer you on as you do the work to create the life you want.
In our first session together, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgement free environment where we'll get to know each other and start building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you in to therapy, your goals, and any concerns or questions you may have. This session is an opportunity for me to learn more about your story and for you to share as m much or as little as you feel comfortable. Together, we'll start creating a plan tailored to your needs and set the foundation for your journey toward growth and healing. I always provide a coping technique or two to practice until the next session!
I provide a supportive and understanding environment, helping clients feel safe and valued. I tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring personalized care.
In this work, we will explore the core beliefs that you have created about the world around you. In identifying these beliefs, we will work on finding any distorted logic within them that may cause you hardship. Once we begin to challenging these beliefs, we can create behavioral changes that support your healthier outlook on life.
I believe the use of EMDR can have a significant impact. It does require having coping skills in place to keep an individual grounded and having an open mind as there will be eye movements and tapping to help reprocess significant events that may keep an individual stuck.
In using this theory and practice of DBT, we aim to create radical acceptance of ourselves. In this work, we aim to develop a greater capacity to sit with emotional discomfort. Together, we work to help you build the skills necessary to welcome all emotions without allowing them to overwhelm or dictate the choices you make.
