I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice located in Manteca, CA. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Holy Names College in Oakland, CA. Experiencing this profession as a healing art has impacted my faith in client's transformational change. My relationship with the practice of psychotherapy has grown from wonderment during the earlier years, to outright joy in these present times.

In my 25 years of experience working with clients I find values in being a good listener, nonjudgmental, having a good memory and working well with all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. The experienced gained from years of practice has impacted the ease in which care is given and received, and treatment plans are formulated.

I have worked most often with clients who report anxiety/depression in their lives. What I like most in working with anxiety/depression is strategically collaborating with clients as they find their way back to wellness and positive functionality.

Kathleen's honesty and grounded energy was apparent at the beginning of our first session. She is very intuitive and has a way of positively mirroring back my strengths even while I'm sharing my pain. She's very insightful. I felt extremely empowered by her. I'm grateful to have found her.

She leads me to me own goals through self discovery which is quite empowering. She shows me that the tools to succeed have always been inside of me and that I just need to utilize them when challenging times arise. She has also advised me that my “fight or flight” moments do not reflect actual danger and that I can tell my body and mind that I am safe…therefore stopping the anxiety/panic feeling at the genesis before it spirals out of control.

Kathleen right off the bat is open minded and interested in what makes you you! Shes organic and original, easy to talk to and easy to understand. Her open ended questions make you really getting sync with your self without causing distress. Our conversation was guided but it flowed very easily, this is one therapy I enjoy already and I think I'm going to love my outcome.
