LMFT, 25 years of experience
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice located in Manteca, CA. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Holy Names College in Oakland, CA. Experiencing this profession as a healing art has impacted my faith in client's transformational change. My relationship with the practice of psychotherapy has grown from wonderment during the earlier years, to outright joy in these present times.
In the first session clients can expect to express their hopes and expectations for their desired achievements with therapy sessions.
In my 25 years of experience working with clients I find values in being a good listener, nonjudgmental, having a good memory and working well with all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. The experienced gained from years of practice has impacted the ease in which care is given and received, and treatment plans are formulated.
I have worked most often with clients who report anxiety/depression in their lives. What I like most in working with anxiety/depression is strategically collaborating with clients as they find their way back to wellness and positive functionality.
In practicing outcome achievement with SFBT with clients who want to change their lives for a better future this treatment method has proven to be highly effective.

Kathleen right off the bat is open minded and interested in what makes you you! Shes organic and original, easy to talk to and easy to understand. Her open ended questions make you really getting sync with your self without causing distress. Our conversation was guided but it flowed very easily, this is one therapy I enjoy already and I think I'm going to love my outcome. Kathleen is amazing you'd be a fool not to book her so what are you waiting for?!? BOOK HER NOW, THANK ME LATER!

Kathleen assists me in finding my own solutions to life situations which in turn provides me with feelings of strength and resilience during times of great stress. Knowing that I have the power to survive tough time while still finding joy and hope in the situation has helped me to look at life’s challenges through a slightly different lens. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m starting to heal.

With Kathleen I am able to notice my own weakness and my strength. And I also am noticing my abilities to grow mentally and emotionally to become a rehabilitated individual in my own environment and society in general.
