What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Further we will get a detailed account as to why your seeking therapy and we will go over goals! I promise I try to use humor as well so it wont be boring :)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Committed to individualized care, Christina believes in the importance of collaborative treatment planning, emphasizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Together with her clients, she strives to explore and address the underlying factors contributing to their concerns, guiding them towards achieving their therapeutic goals and enhancing overall well-being.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) encourages people to embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT combines standard cognitive-behavioral techniques for emotion regulation and reality testing with concepts of mindful awareness, distress tolerance, and acceptance.

Humanistic

Humanistic therapy is a type of talk therapy that focuses on a person's potential for growth and self-actualization. It's based on the idea that people have the capacity to make healthy decisions and be their true selves, and that everyone has their own unique way of looking at the world. Humanistic therapy can help people recognize their strengths, values, and aspirations, and build solid relationships
