Hello and welcome! I am a licensed professional counselor and board certified art therapist. I specialize in supporting those who experience ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, low self-esteem, stress, and trauma. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I am here to listen to fully understand your needs and develop a meaningful and strong therapeutic relationship so that you can feel ready and confident in achieving your goals.
I have a thorough intake process to make sure that I fully understand your presenting problems, needs, and any goals you would like to achieve in therapy. Throughout my experience as a clinician, faster progress is typically shown in clients who show up motivated for therapy through being their fully authentic self in sharing moments of vulnerability when expressing feelings, and who put in effort to do the work outside of sessions.
Whether you are facing the complexity of a life transition, dealing with something traumatic, or simply seeking guidance on your journey, I am here to support you every step of the way. I strive to hold a nonjudgmental space to allow yourself to feel safe to open up and explore the depths of your emotions.
You as the client are the expert on yourself. I encourage growth through facilitating self-discovery and self-acceptance.
I use this approach to create short-term personal goals which helps clients find their own solutions to problems.
This approach helps clients work on being in the present moment, the here and now, without any judgement.
This approach focuses on using unconditional positive regard to foster self-awareness and self-growth.
