    About

As a therapist, my passion is helping others heal from trauma, trials, and pain. Often, we carry our past experiences within our bodies without even realizing it. When we don’t fully process those hurts, we continue to carry them through life—sometimes feeling stuck, triggered, or weighed down. My goal is to walk alongside clients in processing and releasing those experiences so that past memories no longer hold power as triggers, but instead become just that—a memory. I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and it is my calling to support others through that journey. I work with individuals of all ages and life stages, pro I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and a licensed School Counselor. My approach integrates talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and trauma-focused techniques, all tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Through my personal and professional experiences, I’ve learned that our past does not have to define us. That truth guides my work and the message I share with both my clients and my own children: while our past shapes us, it doesn’t have to hold us back. Healing begins when we recognize what we carry—and choose to let go.

My goal is to walk alongside clients in processing and releasing those experiences so that past memories no longer hold power as triggers, but instead become just that—a memory.

    First session

The first session entails the client sharing a good history of themselves, and how I can best help them in our time together.

    Strengths

My greatest strengths are my passion to help my clients, and my love for what I do.

    Ideal clients

I work with clients starting around high school age to adults of any age through individual therapy. I offer some family therapy as well. I work with clients that have past traumas that they want to work through. I enjoy working with clients on career counseling.

    Treatment methods

    Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice I incorporate several treatment methods to help my clients in the healing process. CBT is a great treatment method to help clients change the unhealthy, faulty thinking and learn some healthy ways to cope with whatever is going on by changing the faulty thinking, helping clients to face their fears, and learning healthy coping skills to process those feelings and emotions.

    Brainspotting

Brainspotting is one of my favorite therapy techniques to use with clients to process pain and trauma. Brainspotting combines concepts and techniques from both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) (Shapiro, 1989,) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) (Levine, 2010.) It is thought that by creating the space to witness and process through thoughts, sensations, and emotions the brain and the body are free to harness their own self-healing abilities. I love being a part of the clients healing, and being able to let go of the pain trapped in their bodies.

    Christian Counseling

Faith based counseling is something I am passionate about. I love working with clients in healing and being able to incorporate faith into the healing process if that is something the client chooses. God can heal us, and allows me to be one step in the process.

    Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice I incorporate several treatment methods to help my clients in the healing process. Mindfulness is part of CBT and helps clients change the unhealthy thinking, while at the same time using some tools to help regulate the body. Some examples of this would be deep breathing, understand emotions and process them in a healthy way, and more.

    Person-centered (Rogerian)

Part of the name of my practice - Pinnacle means the highest point. Person-centered therapy is allowing my clients to have a safe space for sharing whatever is going on in their lives, and helping them work toward making positive changes and reaching their full potential.

This was only my first session with Trisha and already feel comfortable with her. I know the work will be hard but I am trusting that Trisha will help me walk through everything to fully heal.

I feel like she took the time to listen to all my past problems in my life and acually cares about helping me overcome my issues. I look forward to working with her in the future.

Trisha was receptive to where I am on my path. She saw me within our first session. Feeling seen is most appreciated. As hard as it is to share my complex situation, Trisha was warm and quick to assess where I am and where I want to be going. I feel I’ve chosen well and am on my way.
