I believe in a person's ability to grow and as a clinician, the experience of guiding another in the process of growth, is invigorating and has fueled my passion for over 40 years in the helping professions. Seeking outside guidance takes courage and is a valuable strength. I am able to help you to discover your self-defeating patterns and use your courage and strengths to develop new behaviors and strategies that bring you fulfillment and reach your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I use the first session to begin to establish a rapport while conducting the necessary assessment to ensure that I understand your unique experiences, why you are seeking help, and what you hope to get out of the therapy relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Quote by Tao Te Ching: "When the student is ready the teacher will appear." This has been my experience personally and professionally. If you are ready for change, please reach out.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

This approach combines CBT with metaphor and somatic techniques to help with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive and trauma related symptoms.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

Helpful with unraveling core and irrational beliefs along with CBT thought stopping and thought replacement and cognitive restructuring techniques for improving quality of life functioning with most mental health disorders.

Somatic

An important part of therapy is learning to become more resilient and self sooth especially for anxious, compulsive, and trauma related symptoms.
