Hi! I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology & Dementia. I graduated in 2019 but I have been in the Social Work field for almost 30 years. My ideal client is someone who shows up which is half the battle. Being here means the client recognizes that it’s ok to reach out for some help. I love working with adults and older adults.
In our first session, we'll get to know each other a little - sort of a "meet and greet'! Then we can start to dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I believe I can connect with my clients and provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to be themselves.
I love using ACT methods with my clients who are struggling with anxiety and depression
CBT is the gold standard of treatment methods! It’s a great way to help my clients “rewire” their brains.
I use Mindfulness to help keep clients in the present moment. All three of my treatment methods work together.
