¡Hola! I’m Diane and I’m so glad you’re here! A little about me: I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master's from Loma Linda University and have been practicing for approximately 10 years. I am of Mexican descent and have lived in sunny, southern California all my life. I love creating memories with my family, my tiny chihuahua, practicing my faith, running, and reading.
What does a session look like? In a typical session, you can expect to feel heard, validated, and gently challenged. I want to hear it all. The good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. All the while possibly being graced by the presence of Luna, my honorary therapy pup.
I have training and experience in the following methods: Individual CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, and Narrative Therapy.
A core tenet of my practice is that healing happens in relationship. I believe in establishing a therapeutic relationship with you based on honesty, transparency, and trust. In doing so my goal is to create a space that welcomes and honors your vulnerability and gives you the willingness to explore deep and difficult topics. I love connecting through humor and making laughter a part of our time together.
