If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trapped by the weight of past trauma, or struggling to find a sense of peace in your daily life, I want you to know that healing is possible—and you're not alone. I specialize in treating trauma and anxiety with a specific focus on boys and men. As boys and men, many of us were taught to "tough it out," push through, or keep our emotions in check. But when trauma and anxiety go unspoken, they don’t just fade—they show up in our bodies, our relationships, and our sense of self. Whether you're facing panic, feeling numb, carrying the weight of a past experience, or just struggling to feel like yourself, I can help you work through it.
The first session is all about getting to know you—no pressure, no judgment. I’ll ask some questions about what’s been bringing you in, what you’ve been dealing with lately, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers or tell your whole story right away. This is a space where you set the pace. We’ll talk through your background, any important life experiences, and how things are showing up for you now—whether that’s anxiety, past trauma, emotional shutdown, or just feeling stuck. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have about therapy, and check in regularly to make sure you're comfortable. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of what you'd like to work on and how we might move forward together. Most of all, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and safe—so you can start building trust in the process, and in yourself.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a calm, grounded space where boys and men feel safe enough to be real—even if they’re not used to opening up. I understand the pressure many men face to appear strong, hold it all together, or avoid vulnerability. I don’t expect clients to come in emotionally fluent or ready to dive deep right away. I meet them where they are, with patience, respect, and zero judgment. I’m direct but compassionate—I say the hard things when needed, but always in a way that honors your dignity and autonomy. I bring a steady, non-reactive presence to the room, which to help you feel anchored even when exploring difficult or overwhelming material. Another strength is my ability to translate therapeutic concepts into something practical and relatable. Whether it’s trauma responses, anxiety patterns, or emotional regulation, I break it down in ways that make sense and feel usable. Above all, I believe in the resilience of the people I work with—and I’m committed to helping you reconnect with your own strength, clarity, and confidence.
I work best with boys, teens, and men who are struggling with anxiety, unresolved trauma, emotional shutdown, or difficulty expressing what they’re really feeling. Many of my clients have been taught to stay quiet, be tough, or “handle it themselves”—but that hasn’t brought them the peace or strength they hoped for. Instead, they feel overwhelmed, isolated, reactive, or disconnected. Whether you're young boy dealing with emotional outbursts or a grown man silently battling panic attacks or past trauma, I provide a supportive space that meets you where you are. I’m especially skilled at helping clients who: Feel pressure to appear strong but are falling apart inside Have experienced trauma—physical, emotional, or relational—that still lingers Struggle with anxiety, anger, or feeling emotionally numb Want to be present and connected in their relationships but don’t know how Are curious about healing, even if they’re unsure what that looks like yet
