I have been licensed as Marriage Family Therapist since April 3,2003. My area of clinical practice has focused on addressing the underlining causes of anxiety, addiction and depressive disorders. In addition, I have acquired a fundamental understanding of crisis that affects the struggle involving martial relationships. As a Marriage Therapist, I have expertise in the utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It my clinical experience that if you can effectively change your thoughts process your life will radically change for the better.
In our initial intake session is critical to establish a viable therapeutic relationship with my client. I will be open, receptive, genuine, and empathic with my client. I will establish an atmosphere that validates my client's concerns. In addition, I will provide clear information regarding my current licensure status, availability, and office hours. I also will inform the clients of the limits of confidentiality, my no-show and cancellation policy
I strongly believe that if you change your habitual thoughts your entire life will follow. If you recognize that the thoughts and images that you entertain in your mind can change. It is extremely possible that you can create a life beyond your imagination.
Typically, my primary therapeutic orientation is to address the underlying causes of cognitive distortions.
