Hello! I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Florida. I attended Colorado Christian University and have six years of experience working with individuals of all backgrounds. I specialize in incorporating Christianity with evidence-based techniques to teach individuals to manage day-to-day struggles as well as significant life events. I also offer Biblical counseling to individuals in all 50 states. This may or may not be covered by insurance depending on the state that you are located in. If you are not sure about the difference between Biblical counseling and Christian counseling, reach out to me and I will be happy to provide this information.
In our first session together, I will answer any questions that you may have about the process as well as share information about what to expect in each session moving forward. We will work together to create an effective treatment plan for you to achieve your mental health therapy goals.
I have worked with a variety of individuals for over six years and have developed successful protocol for creating lifelong change in a brief period of time. My goal is to prepare you to be able to face ongoing challenges in life with the skills that you learn from me during our time together.
I am trained and certified in all aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Based on a client's needs, I introduced aspects of CBT to most individuals, couples, and families. I have six years of experience implementing CBT for a variety of client issues including: anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, PTSD, etc.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy which align with the Bible and Christian faith. I teach techniques that enable clients to use their faith to improve their life circumstances.

I have been trained in cognitive processing therapy according to the Veterans Administration guidelines and successfully implement this with individuals experiencing PTSD due to many different types of trauma.
I have six years of experience working with couples and utilize CBT and DBT to address concerns involving communication, respect, abusive behavior, life goals, etc.
