Hello! I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in the state of Texas and hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. For over half a decade, I been helping children, adolescents, and adults overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout, supporting them on their journey to becoming their best selves. I offer in-person sessions in the North Fort Worth (Alliance) area and virtually to clients residing in the state of Texas.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll begin with a quick introduction and then explore the specific challenges you're currently facing. This will allow us to develop a personalized plan to guide our collaborative work for future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With over five years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, my greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a safe, supportive space and my commitment to developing practical, tailored plans that drive real, measurable progress. I facilitate as you identify your challenges and empower you to make meaningful changes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify and challenge negative thoughts. CBT helps clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Clients learn practical skills to manage anxiety, depression and other issues, plus they learn techniques such as relaxation techniques and problem solving skills.

EMDR

I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate it into my practice to help clients process and resolve trauma. I use EMDR to facilitate emotional healing by guiding clients through bilateral stimulation, helping them reframe negative beliefs and integrate adaptive information.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and utilize it in my practice to help clients address and reframe unhelpful thoughts related to trauma. By focusing on cognitive distortions and promoting healthier thinking patterns, I support clients in reducing symptoms of PTSD and improving overall mental well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and use it in my practice to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change. Through a collaborative, client-centered approach, I facilitate self-motivation and empower clients to take actionable steps toward their goals.
