LPC, 19 years of experience
My approach draws from DBT, CBT, and ACT, and integrates mindfulness, parts-informed work, and emerging body-based practices that support emotional regulation and resilience. My style is integrative and attuned; I work to understand your experiences, build on your inherent strengths, and support meaningful, lasting change. I believe every person has the capacity to move through adversity and create a life that feels grounded, balanced, and worth living.
Our first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other, explore what prompted you to seek therapy, and talk through any questions or hopes you may have. I take my time with this process so we can build a collaborative approach that feels clear, supportive, and aligned with your goals.
I strive to offer a calm, supportive space where you can explore challenges openly, express yourself with confidence, and recognize the strengths you bring into the room. I’m also attentive to the broader context of your lived experience, which helps guide creative, effective, and values-based approaches to growth and problem-solving.
I often support individuals, couples, and families, especially young adults navigating the transition toward greater autonomy. I’m drawn to helping people clarify their values, explore their interests, and take meaningful steps toward a life that feels balanced, authentic, and aligned with who they are becoming.
I have received formal training and supervision in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach that supports individuals who have experienced trauma, struggle with self-worth, or find it difficult to manage stress, maintain emotional balance, or sustain meaningful relationships. I’m an experienced skills-group instructor and have led DBT groups in a variety of treatment settings. I remain dedicated to ongoing learning through professional development and peer consultation to keep my work effective, responsive, and grounded in best practices.
I use mindfulness-based strategies, including skills drawn from DBT, to support emotional well-being and clarity. Mindfulness helps people increase self-awareness, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges with greater intention. I provide a calm, grounded space where clients can explore and shift patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior.
I emphasize an integrative approach to treatment, recognizing that no single method is right for everyone. Together, we can develop a personalized plan that includes components of DBT, CBT, and ACT, along with parts-informed, mindfulness-based, and mind–body strategies. This flexible approach allows us to respond to your specific needs and helps create a more balanced, effective path toward healing and growth.
