Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with availability via Telehealth as well as in-person, servicing the RGV with an office in Mission, TX. I received my Master's degree in Counseling & Development from Lamar University and have been honored to help individuals and couples reach their goals for close to 2 years now. I hope to meet you soon!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will be for introductions, explaining confidentiality and lots of questions. This first session, also known as the Intake, is where I try and get as much information as possible to be able to serve you better. These questions will include details about your background, childhood, day-to-day living, friends, family, relationships, etc. Before we end our Intake session, I will ask you what goals you'd like from therapy and have you envision the "you" you want to see when our time is coming to an end. This gives me more information as to how to create a tailored plan for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as an LPC is how genuinely I care for my clients. I love building relationships with my clients and strive to help them reach their desired goals.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my sessions, I utilize Rogerian person-centered therapy to create a safe and supportive environment for clients. I prioritize empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their feelings and experiences without judgment. This approach fosters self-discovery and personal growth, empowering clients to find their own solutions and enhance their self-acceptance. Through reflective responses and validation, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotions, facilitating a therapeutic relationship built on trust and authenticity.
