Life can be tough sometimes, and it can be a vulnerable act to reach out for support. I do my best to provide a person centered approach to help you reach your goals and resolve stuck beliefs that may be holding you back. I integrate various modalities, and tailor my approach to fit your needs. My approach was built from my experiences working in a trauma facility, community mental health care, and a managed care setting. If you think we may be a fit, please reach out and we can work together to create a plan that works for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During my first session I like to get to know you so that we are able to start at a place that you are comfortable. I do like to get some background information so that we can come up with a collaborative approach to your treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take an approach to meet patient's where they are at and really listen to not only what the stated needs are, but try to see what the underlying needs are.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I understand confronting difficult and/or traumatic memories can be challenging, but I find that EMDR is an effective way to address not only the painful memories, but also the unhelpful beliefs that can attach themselves to your daily life. EMDR is an effective and evidence based treatment that can provide relief from a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and specific phobias.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I interweave dialectical behavior therapy techniques to help clients learn to self-regulate and build communication skills.

Group Therapy

I can provide specific and general group support to help facilitate therapeutic connections between those with similar challenges.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I work well with those that may be curious about mindfulness, but struggle putting it into practice. I support those by finding ways to fit mindfulness into your every day life even with busy schedules.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I interweave cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help challenge negative or stuck beliefs and provide tangible skills that you can start using in your everyday life.
