My therapeutic practice is rooted in acknowledging your multicultural experiences and understanding how these dynamics influence your personal goals and interpersonal relationships. Coming from a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed perspective, I’ll work with you as you navigate gender, social, or cultural concerns, especially those that may differ from your family’s expectations. Together, we explore these complex layers to foster personal growth, healthy relationships, and help you live by your core values.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first therapy session, I make it a priority to understand you as a unique individual. I take the time to get genuinely curious about your background and mental health history. This helps me understand how I can best support you in achieving your goals while working collaboratively every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a lively and expressive person who brings humor and a light-hearted touch to my sessions, making it easy to discuss serious topics in a relaxed way, while also being expertly capable of making space, diving deep, and engaging in meaningful and serious discussion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I typically work with individuals who recognize that unhealthy family and intimate relationship dynamics are no longer serving them, and they're ready to stop repeating past patterns that lead to conflicts or minimizing themself or their needs. I am most comfortable working with clients who are getting curious about personally growing to create healthier adult and family relationships and are eager to challenge themselves. My areas of focus are Anxiety, Generational Trauma, Interpersonal (Peer & Family) Difficulties, Relationship Struggles, Women’s Issues, Immigrant and Acculturation Issues, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Identity Issues, self-esteem, Coping Skills, Social Skills, and Feminism & Liberation Awareness.

Ghazal radiates warmth & creates such a safe space where you feel completely comfortable expressing urself & being vulnerable. She asks thoughtful compelling questions to understand situations so she can thoughtfully guide solutions. She also never forgets to remind me of my growth, which is empowering. She's the most intelligent & inspiring women I know, has helped me heal, break repetitive patterns & shed light on things that allow me to better understand myself & move forward with strength.
