Donna Hearn Frydman
The most important person in our session will be you. I believe that until you put the oxygen mask on yourself, you cannot solve your issues or help anyone else. There are no perfect people--my role is to help you put down that burden and walk with you while you find your path. Together we will walk through the journey of your life, explore your choices and help you achieve your destiny. Freedom feels great.
Working with those people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or other drugs of abuse is something I value.
My years of experience as a Master's Level Therapist with a Certification in Addiction studies has prepared me to address any issue that may arise during our time together. Together we will explore your childhood, your relationships, your life today, and find a road home that is comfortable and attainable. There is nothing WE can't handle. I look forward to meeting you and guiding you.
First session
Your first session will be for you to decide if you think I have anything to offer you and for me to decide the same. If we are not mutually compatible, I will refer you to someone who will guide you and offer you what you need and deserve.
Strengths
Working with those people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or other drugs of abuse is something I value. I also believe that people just need to get all of the pieces of their life out of the box and add to what they already know about themselves. Sometimes we just need to look in the mirror and take the blinders off and see what we HAVE contributed to the world.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
While I offer many different treatment methods, CBT usually begins to trace, erase and replace the issues that are causing you discomfort.
