I am a Clinical Licensed Social Worker in Florida and Certified LIfe Coach. I have a Master in Counseling , School Psychology, and Social Work.. I am a retired teacher and guidance counselor from New York and a Certified Life Coach. A have also completed Addca's ADHD training. I received my license as a Clinical Social Worker from the state of Florida. I work with individuals diagnosed with ADHD of all ages ,and their parents. By utilizing positive psychology and strength based methods I help clients deal with self esteem, time management, organizational skills, executive function, and anxiety issues. I also work with clients who are experiencing stress and self esteem issues. During our sessions we work together to develop strategies that will allow them to work towards their goals.
During our first session, after our introductions, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish during our sessions. We will discuss what brought you to therapy at this time. You will complete an exercise that will give you a visual of how younfeel about the main areas of their life . From this exercise , you will decide which area you would like to work on first. We will work together to strategize how to accomplish these goals.

I love working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, parents of those diagnosed with ADHD and those exhibiting characteristics of ADHD such as exsecutive function issues, time management, procrastination, etc. I also enjoy working with individuals suffering from anxiety because there are so many strategies that will help alleviate many of the symptoms af anxiety. I work with my clients to develop the strategies they feel most comfortable with and those that they feel will enable them to reduce or alleviate their stress. e

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past several years. It’s helped clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
