Hi there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Houston, and I’ve been practicing for 11 years now. My focus is helping people who’ve experienced trauma find healing and become the best versions of themselves. I’m passionate about supporting my clients through their journey of growth and recovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take a little time to get to know each other, then talk about the specific challenges you’re dealing with. From there, we’ll put together a plan that’s personalized to help guide us in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I’ve crafted a proven, results-driven approach designed to help you uncover the root cause of your struggles and build a personalized roadmap for real, lasting progress. Together, we’ll turn challenges into stepping stones toward the life you want.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I thoroughly enjoy working with clients motivated to regain their sense of personal power and autonomy. They are working to shift from victim to survivor, finding their inner strength through support and guidance. In essence, I love working with clients who are ready to embark on a transformative journey, even if they feel overwhelmed at first. A collaborative, open, and motivated spirit makes the therapeutic process rewarding for both the client and the therapist

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience using CBT is an engaging and dynamic process of collaboration, education, and guided change. Together, we, create a structured environment that empowers you to challenge negative thought patterns, modify unhelpful behaviors, and ultimately achieve emotional and psychological well-being.

EMDR

My experiences using EMDR, a dynamic and emotionally intense process, helping clients reprocess traumatic memories, moving them from distress to healing. My role is one of careful guidance, emotional attunement, and support, as I facilitate the client’s journey of trauma resolution through structured, powerful techniques like bilateral stimulation. It has been a deeply rewarding therapy, with clients often reporting significant breakthroughs and healing after just a few sessions.

Racial trauma treatment

As a person of color and a therapist, my experience of working with racial trauma is one of deep empathy, cultural awareness, emotional sensitivity, and empowerment. We will go through a process of validating the client’s experiences, helping navigate the emotional impact of racial oppression, and supporting the healing journey.

Eclectic

Using the eclectic method in therapy allows me to draw from a variety of techniques and approaches, making treatment more personalized and adaptive to the client’s needs. My experience is one of ongoing assessment, creativity, and responsiveness, as I combine elements from different therapeutic schools of thought to tailor interventions for the individual. Dynamic and rewarding approach, it also requires careful attention to the client’s emotional state, goals, and preferences. This is utilized most heavily in treatment.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My experience utilizing mindfulness-based therapy is a flexible, client-centered approach that fosters awareness, acceptance, and emotional regulation. Your experience with this mode of therapy is one of guiding, supporting, and witnessing the growth as you incorporate mindfulness into your healing journey.
