Hello! I am an experienced therapist that has helped others with numerous personal and family issues. I look at the process of therapy as a journey we go on together so I can learn about your life and help you recognize your strengths and help you gain insight into triggers. I have been a licensed therapist for 15 years. I specialize in trauma and am trained in specific techniques including DBT and EMDR to help process your past and gain calming coping skills. I emphasize the use of journaling and meditation to gain knowledge about yourself between sessions and help you process your past in a safe place. I have worked within addiction and family systems and have experience teaching boundaries and communication skills to help you improve important relationships in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will go over a timeline of your life to get to know the full picture of who you are. I will ask questions to get to know you and how you think.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my biggest strengths as a therapist is identifying trauma and specific thinking patterns created by your home environment or social norms that are currently impacting your quality of life and how to examine and change these for a happier more peaceful existence.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Clients that I am best positioned to serve are people who are willing to be vulnerable about their life and want to take responsibility to make positive changes in their life. I believe in talking about deeper subjects such as "why are you here and what lessons do you feel like you are learning in life" to have meaningful conversations that promote growth.
