Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Clinical Supervisor, and owner of Storybook Counseling. I empower women in their journey of self discovery and healing. I specialize in helping women and teen girls who feel held back by anxiety, low self-esteem, mood swings, procrastination, obsessions/compulsions and self doubt. Life transitions can be difficult and as women we experience a multitude of these changes. These difficulties can appear in early adolescence, during pregnancy and motherhood, in the work force, or through health challenges. Feelings of anxiety can present differently for everyone. I am here to walk with you during this journey! Together we can improve your coping skills, explore your purpose in life, and find meaningfulness in each day.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Together, we will create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in treating anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and OCD (including Pure-O.) I utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including Gold Standard evidenced based therapies such as ERP and CBT.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are looking for real tools to reduce their anxiety, improve their ability to cope with challenges and overcome anxiety. You will leave sessions feeling empowered to make changes and gain confidence in reaching your goals.
