Hi there! I’m La Tisha. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, grief, emotional numbness, or a lost sense of self, my primary goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic inner being. I empower individuals to realign with their core values, fostering a sense of strength and confidence to live as their truest selves. I take a holistic approach, integrating mind, body, and spirit in my practice. In addition to Western psychology, I incorporate indigenous healing traditions to support the development of a whole and grounded sense of self. Whether you’re looking to unpack years of complex trauma, build healthier relationships, or navigate cycles of depression and anxiety, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and grace. Learning to love yourself and cultivate meaningful connections begins with honoring who you are at your core. As your therapist, I serve as a teacher, a guide, and a facilitator of growth and healing—helping you step into the fullness of who you are.
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions and address any questions you may have about the therapy process or my therapeutic approach. From there, we’ll transition into a conversation about you—your experiences, needs, and goals—so I can better understand how to support you on your journey of growth and healing.
I offer an integrative therapeutic approach that encompasses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Depth Psychology, and Spiritual Psychology. My practice is client-centered, viewing each individual as a whole being. I incorporate indigenous healing practices and time-tested wisdom from Eastern philosophies to enrich the therapeutic process. My aim is to provide a space for growth and connection through a decolonized lens, acknowledging and addressing the impacts of colonization on mental health.
My greatest strength as a clinician is my ability to see my clients as whole beings. You are the sum of your relationships, and because wounding often occurs within relationships, healing and growth can also emerge through them. Beyond treatment methods and tools, I view our time together as sacred. My goal is to create a space where you can unfold, deepen your self-understanding, and ultimately show up as your most authentic self.
I work with: • Women navigating major life transitions and the unique challenges of womanhood. • Individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder who want to build a fulfilling, meaningful life. • Those experiencing high-functioning anxiety who seek balance and inner peace. • People of color (POC) looking to explore their cultural identity and its impact on mental health.
