I’m a psychotherapist with extensive experience in the field of mental health and counseling. I offer a safe and nurturing environment to develop insight and work through personal challenges. My goal is to establish a collaborative relationship with each client based on trust, support and accountability in order to help them to find their own path to healing, personal growth and overall wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first sessions, we will identify the issues at hand and create a plan to lead you through the stumbling blocks and get your life back.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have over 20 years of a diverse experience that spans over hospital and outpatient clinics settings, oncology/palliative care and bereavement programs, community mental health services, and running my private practice since 2010. I’m also trained as a perinatal mental health specialist. I’m empathetic, a great listener, and I’m able to combine different therapeutic approaches to get tangible results.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

With my experience working with anxiety, stress and mood disorders, I bring clients into better functioning and help them to find meaning in life. I support clients through the emotional toll of trying to conceive, infertility, and pregnancy or dealing with a chronic illness. I also specialize in helping clients process damaging childhood experiences and change their patterns for themselves or their children. I use my knowledge of health psychology and healthcare systems to process the toll of chronic illness. As a perinatal mental health expert, I guide clients through their unique pregnancy needs or fertility issues and transition to motherhood. I use therapeutic approaches and creative arts to help clients process their emotions and develop insight.
