I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from New Jersey and have been practicing for 25 years. I work in a Middle School during the day and my specialty is working with children and adolescents, but I will work with adults as well. I know that each stage of life brings its own challenges and opportunities for growth. My approach combines CBT and DBT with a down-to-earth style that often includes humor—because sometimes a well-timed laugh can make difficult work feel a little more manageable. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and equipped with real tools to move forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we will discuss why you sought out counseling and I will ask you what is the main priority that needs to be met from counseling. I will ask some questions to get some background information and we will move on from there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist I am honest and listen to what you feel you need to work on in therapy. I am empathetic to all issues my clients have in their life and I try to have a sense a humor and be genuine to them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adolescents and young adults in their 20's. I feel that they are willing to really make changes and express themselves without hesitation.
