Hello, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Alaska and have been providing therapy for over seven years. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relational challenges. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in helping you better understand your emotions while building healthy coping skills that support lasting change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and safe space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for growth, I look forward to walking alongside you as you develop tools that bring greater balance and resilience into your everyday life.
Your first session is a relaxed conversation focused on getting to know you — not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore any important background you feel comfortable sharing, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My priority is creating a safe, supportive space where you can move at your own pace. Together, we’ll start building a personalized plan that reflects your needs, strengths, and the changes you hope to see in your life.
My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a calm, non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I’m known for balancing deep empathy with practical guidance — helping you not only process what you’re feeling, but also develop tools you can actually use outside of session. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I integrate evidence-based methods with a relational, strengths-focused perspective, supporting clients in building emotional awareness, healthier coping patterns, and more confident decision-making. My goal is to help you experience meaningful progress while feeling supported every step of the way.
I work best with adolescents, young adults, and individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges who are ready for a supportive but goal-oriented approach. As a Christian therapist, I welcome clients who value faith as part of their healing journey while also creating a respectful space for those from diverse backgrounds. My style blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Choice/Reality Therapy, and compassion-focused work. Together, these approaches help you understand thought patterns, make values-aligned decisions, and develop greater self-compassion — all while building practical skills you can use in everyday life. While I work with individuals across the lifespan and offer support to families and couples, my primary specialty is helping Adolescents, Young Adults and Women build emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy coping strategies during pivotal seasons of growth.

Christian Counseling
My Christian faith is a central part of who I am and how I understand healing, identity, and hope. Having walked with Jesus for over 20 years — through both seasons of growth and struggle — I approach counseling with humility, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s journey. In Christian counseling, I integrate Biblical principles with evidence-based therapeutic practices to support both emotional and spiritual well-being. Together, we may explore Scripture, apply faith-based perspectives to life’s challenges, and cultivate practical tools that align with your values while fostering peace, resilience, and personal growth. This approach is especially meaningful for clients who desire to incorporate their relationship with Christ into the healing process while still receiving clinically sound mental health support.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) throughout my clinical work to help clients identify patterns that keep them feeling stuck and develop practical skills for meaningful change. CBT focuses on understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how shifting those patterns can lead to greater emotional balance and resilience. In our work together, we’ll identify specific goals, learn tools you can use in everyday situations, and practice new ways of responding to stress, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach to CBT is both structured and supportive, helping you build awareness while creating lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.
Compassion Focused
I believe compassion is at the heart of meaningful healing. In our work together, you can expect to experience a supportive, non-judgmental space while also learning how to extend that same compassion toward yourself. Compassion-focused therapy helps reduce shame, quiet harsh self-criticism, and build a more balanced and understanding inner voice. Together, we’ll work on developing emotional safety, strengthening self-awareness, and creating healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts and feelings so you can move forward with greater confidence and peace.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy is a hopeful, forward-moving approach that helps you shift from feeling stuck to identifying what’s possible. While your story and experiences matter, our work together will often center on your strengths, your values, and the small, meaningful steps that lead to real change. My style is both supportive and practical — I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you notice patterns, recognize progress, and build momentum toward the life you want to live. Together, we’ll focus on what is already working, explore new perspectives, and create realistic goals that feel achievable rather than overwhelming. This approach is especially helpful if you’re feeling discouraged, navigating transitions, or ready to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Reality Therapy
Reality Therapy is a practical, present-focused approach that helps you take ownership of your choices while building a life that aligns with your values and goals. Rather than staying stuck in blame or frustration, we’ll explore what you truly want, what’s within your control, and how small, intentional changes can lead to meaningful growth. My approach is supportive but honest — I will gently challenge you when needed while helping you develop clarity, responsibility, and confidence in your decisions. Together, we’ll look at patterns in relationships, behaviors, and emotional responses so you can create healthier connections and a stronger sense of direction. This approach can be especially helpful if you’re feeling stuck in repeating cycles, struggling with motivation, or wanting to move forward with greater purpose and personal responsibility.

I just finished my 5th session with Elizabeth and, I've gotta say, she is such a huge help! We are setting weekly goals and she holds me accountable, which is what I requested and need. I'm so glad I chose Elizabeth. She is exactly what I needed.

Elizabeth was warm, approachable, open-minded and took things at the speed I needed. She tied faith into our session, which was incredibly important to me. She is supportive and empowering and gave me hope that, for the first time in a long time, things will be okay.
