Life sometimes gets complicated! When you find yourself in need of nurturing support, when life is changing or it feels like just too much to handle on your own, I'm here for you. I'm a licensed psychotherapist who practices from an attachment perspective. I love co-creating and fostering connections in all kinds of relational systems and approach therapy with a full life-course perspective in mind. My areas of specialty include depression and anxiety, assistance with life transition adjustment, grief and bereavement counseling, premarital counseling, parenting skills building and problem solving, and trauma recovery. If you've been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder or adult ADHD and have found it difficult to locate an experienced therapist who can help, you'll find a therapeutic space with me. With the ease of telehealth offering you the opportunity to meet with me from the comfort of your own space, my hope is that you'll find therapy accessible and there right when you need it. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and will move into exploring the challenges that have brought you to therapy. We'll form a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

In addition to traditional talk therapy, we may utilize expressive or play therapy and art therapy interventions. According to your individualized needs, we will engage in evidence-based therapeutic practices. I'm proficient in several therapeutic models including TF-CBT, BSFT, EFT, and Collaborative Therapy. The things in life that bring us to therapy are unique, and require a flexible approach undertaken with skill and careful discernment. A Prepare and Enrich facilitator, I also happily provide premarital counseling and seminars and provide parenting skills training seminars.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful treatment. With a background as a seminary-trained clinician, I am adept at entering your frame of reference with you, while providing supportive care.
