I have worked at a cancer institute for 15 years and in a dialysis center prior to that. I work in the ICU/IMCU and have the privilege to work with patients and families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. I am branching out to explore the world of private practice and helping others outside of the hospital.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First sessions with me will typically be introductory, a chance to get to know each other and establish what your goals are in therapy. The hope is that we will both know if it's a good fit by the end of the session. I want you to feel comfortable with me and confident that you will get what you need.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I'm very relatable and easy to talk to. Dare I say, laid back. No judgement here. Just bring your willingness to talk and we'll get along great.

My treatment methods

Grief Therapy

As a medical social worker in a critical care setting, I use grief therapy regularly with families coping with the loss of a loved one and with patients coping with the loss of control, etc.
