Sudden life changes such as the loss of a loved one, the death of a pet, or diagnosis with a chronic or debilitating disease, are hard to handle. Being a caregiver for a loved one who has a chronic or terminal illness can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience; but it also comes with stresses that can be hard for friends and family to understand. Being a person who needs help to manage day to day activities of living can also be difficult, even if the help is appreciated. Illness, loss of mobility, reduced independence, physical and emotional pain can change your relationship with others and with yourself. Even positive life transitions such as retirement, promotions, or reprioritizing your work/life balance to focus on what matters, can be stressful. Whatever changes you are going through can impact your ability to find meaning, a sense of purpose, or hope in your life. Whether you have always struggled with feelings of depression and anxiety, or they have come as a result of these changes in your life, I believe therapy can help. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2004, and am currently offering individual therapy via telehealth for clients in Pennsylvania. Before becoming a psychotherapist in Pennsylvania, I worked in developing and delivering community and mental health services in Arizona. Throughout my career I have worked closely with older adults, caregivers, members of the disability community, residents in long term care, and residents in transitional and emergency housing for older victims of elder abuse and intimate partner violence. I have lived experience with chronic illness, disability, and remote caregiving. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a survivor of suicide. I bring all of this professional and personal experience to my practice.

Hi, welcome! My name is Koti. Do you feel weighed down and disconnected from your authentic self? Are you struggling to manage your emotions and navigate through life's challenges? I am a therapist of trans and familial mental illness experience. I empower and support individuals in the LGBTQIA2S+ community and your allies to better understand your worth, utilize your strengths and build skills to more effectively navigate challenges you face. Your lived experience is unique to you and we will take a look at how your experieces have contributed to the current issues you may be struggling with. We will address matters of your whole self (mind, body and spirit) as your physical, mental and emotional well-being are interconnected. I'll employ evidenced based techniques to help you look inward and identify your strengths to move you toward your goals. Whether your goals are around managing/coping with depression, anxiety, other mental illness, navigating life changes or coming out/ supporting a loved one who has recently come out, I am here to help. Reaching out and sharing intimate parts about yourself can be scary. The biggest thing I strive for is to create a safe space where you can authentically express yourself without fear of judgment. You are valid, loved and enough simply for being, YOU!

Shalom and welcome! I'm Kay, and I provide warm, gentle counseling to people of all ages. Even though I have a lot of grey hairs, I am new to this career. After two decades in nonprofit management, I returned to school and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University in May 2019. That means that I bring both lived experience, as a working mother, and professional training to my work with clients.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life. I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly. I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child. I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.

I have provided therapy for the past twenty years with clients who identify as LGBTQAI+. I am a senior therapist with excellent skills and expertise and enjoy helping other therapists in their own journey. My primary focus is treating the LGBTQAI+ community and a special compassion for trans people. I also treat adults who consider themselves on the margins of society. I treat adults within the LGBTQAI+ who suffer from depression and anxiety; PTSD and Complex PTSD and other forms of trauma; co dependency, coming out and transitioning, relationships and family issues. I also specialize in the treatment of Dissociative Disorders. My main modalities are EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), trauma-informed therapies, internal systems, and spiritually based methods including mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I attempt to see the world through your lense, bring empathy and compassion to your situation and then work together to find solutions. I find re processing of trauma (EMDR) and internal work (IFS) most effective of therapies.

Hi All, My name is Linda, and I have a deep passion for helping folks grow to the heights they want to achieve. I have been a therapist for years, and have spent a great deal of time helping those who have experienced trauma. I love working with people and have a special place in my heart for the Arts and Music. For many years I owned a woodcraft and ceramic business and continue to keep crafts close to me. I also love music and love to play the organ, piano, and guitar. I was a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from East Stroudsburg University, then raised my own three children for a while. I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Capella University. I currently hold an LCSW in PA. I have taken many additional trainings in Trauma-informed counseling, DBT, EMDR, and of course crafts/painting. Helping folks care for themselves is extremely important in life’s struggles, and sharing the heart's desires helps us all navigate the world. It is with great anticipation that I get to know the uniqueness of you in a holistic environment where we can work on reaching the heights of your passion. I hope all my folks find me supportive and comforting on their journey in life. We can do this! See you soon!
