I am trained to work with multiple specialties; such as trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, communication, relationship problems, substance use disorders, confidence, work stress, sleep issues, and a lot more. I believe in constantly enhancing my clinical skills to accomplish my mission of helping as many people as I can to heal. I I have been in practice as a licensed psychologist for over 23 years and have worked in a variety of settings with diverse clientele. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Missouri at Kansas City Counseling and Testing Center, working with students and faculty providing individual, couples, and group therapy. I also engaged in outreach activities to promote mental health awareness in the university community. During my postdoctoral internship at Miami County Mental Health Center, I treated children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of issues and challenges. I enjoyed working with clients of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and community backgrounds.
