You have found the voice of an online therapist inspired by the swells of the Pacific Ocean! I not only have a personal love of ocean culture but also a special interest in increasing our power by creating meaning and healing through finding balance and connection with ourself, others, and our surroundings. I specialize in trauma-focused interventions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is an opportunity to see if we are a right fit. You are the consumer, you have options! It is important to feel seen and heard, while also holding each other accountable to honoring the therapeutic alliance and process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience with the challenges that come with understanding depression and anxiety, family issues, career changes, interpersonal relationships, sex and intimacy, grief and loss support, and addiction and substance use treatment affecting individuals and their loved ones.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have worked with all ages and genders throughout my career yet due to limitations of telehealth I prefer teen youth and adults that are comfortable with navigating the technological landscape. In addition, we all have our own personalities and experiences, so finding a right fit can feel challenging. We will work well together for as long as we have both done the work!

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

While it is important to identify the problem, solutions give us hope and strength to overcome them.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I specialize in trauma treatment, while integrating focus on identifying patterns in order shift towards what is more helpful than what is keeping us stuck.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Safety and security is the foundation to building connection with ourselves, others, and community to thrive v survive.

Strength-Based

Practicing what is skill based is the way to overcoming problems and becoming solution focused. We already have skills and strengths yet are we tapping in or tapping out?!
