Jill Grant is a licensed clinical social worker who understands the importance of a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach when working with each client, and their individual needs. Jill treats clients from diverse backgrounds, focusing on personal growth and achieving peace. She is available weeknight evenings and weekend mornings! I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience. Utilizing evidenced-based modalities, primarily solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, I have provided treatment to clients confronted with a variety of mental health concerns, including adjustment disorders, stress management concerns, relationship discord, self-esteem and self-confidence conflicts, depression, anxiety, and other mood disturbances. Collaboratively, we will work to identify your goals for treatment and develop your plan of care, ensuring your personal wellness is a priority.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will greet you, discuss my clinical background and explain treatment modalities. I will also ask you about your presenting concern, your goals for treatment, and answer any questions you may have.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Building rapport is an important first step in beginning treatment. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where the client can speak openly about the details of their life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I strive to build rapport with clients early, discussing their goals for treatment and what benefit they hope to gain from sessions. Communication is key, and we will determine course of treatment together!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help patients learn how their thoughts, emotions and behaviors all interact with each other. Learning how to reframe our thinking patterns changes and change our perspective leads to change!

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Treatment to motivate and empower clients, assist in developing new ideas for problem-solving and prevent feelings of being 'stuck' and build strategies to decision-making.
