I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Tennessee but also licensed in Kentucky. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Louisville. I have over 25 years of experience working clients of all ages in a variety of settings. I currently focus on helping adults and adolescents with difficulties they are struggling with, so they can be the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I like to get some background information to learn who you are as a person. We will then discuss what led you to seek therapy and what challenges you are facing along with the goals you want to work towards. This will help us create a plan to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel one of my greatest strengths is listening. I think it is important to listen to clients so they are heard and understood. This allows me to meet the client where they are in treatment, giving me the ability to help and be supportive.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients who may be dealing with life transitions, depression, anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD, along with many other issues. Clients who want to increase awareness about self, motivated for change, need help in identifying solutions, and who are working toward goals they set for themselves.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I use the Eclectic approach allowing for a flexible and multifaceted approach in therapy to focus on each client's individual needs. Some of the approaches I use are CBT, Person Centered, Solution Focused, Strength Based, Mindfulness and Trauma Informed. We are all different so it is important for the treatment approach to be best for each client and the issues being addressed.
