I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. I earned my Masters Degree from the University of New England, and have over 8 years of experience as a therapist. I help adults that want to overcome the issues that keep them stuck or in distress to gain the tools that they need to live happy and healthy lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, I will ask you questions to get to know you better and what brings you to therapy. We will also talk about what you would like to focus on working on during our sessions together, and come up with a plan together to help you to reach your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a great listener, and really care about all my clients and helping them to achieve happiness and success. I have learned over the years how to help my clients pinpoint their stuck points, and gain the awareness necessary to overcome what holds them back from experiencing true relief.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I help clients that suffer from anxiety, depression, attachment failures, and trauma to become empowered, overcome their distress, and heal, to live happy and fulfilling lives. Sometimes our past experiences can leave us with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and many other issues. I specialize in helping people to uncover how their past experiences are affecting their present lives, so that they can develop the tools and skills to overcome their challenges, transform their lives, and experience lasting relief.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to work with my clients to help them with understanding how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach to provide a safe space for clients where they can feel unconditionally accepted, and comfortable to open up about the difficult experiences that bring them to therapy, and explore and resolve difficult feelings and situations that may be keeping them stuck.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I sometimes use a mindfulness-based approach, which can help clients to gain more of a sense of control over their lives.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I may use CPT when working with clients that have experienced trauma.

Eclectic

I often use a variety of treatments, which are based on each client's unique needs.
