Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a therapist specializing in working with young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, dating, peer relationships, familial relationships, career help, life transitions and anything that adulthood brings! My training and background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma focused, and Psychodynamic. I have been practicing for 7 years and would love to get to know you more!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My client's can expect to feel safe, warm, and supported in a non judgmental way in their first session with me. I also like to have the first session be conversational while also providing information that is important for me to know.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths are my ability to challenge clients while also being compassionate and caring.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young young adults who want to work on themselves! It is such a pleasure to see people coming to therapy to work on their past and their future. I love making a difference in their lives.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I have worked for over 2 years practicing specifically with trauma focused CBT and trauma informed care therapy with children, adolescents, adults and families. Since then I have a lot of experience with trauma work in my individual private practice. I have attended many trauma focused trainings and feel comfortable working with those impacted by trauma, specifically past childhood trauma.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice for over 7 years now. I have attended many CBT trainings throughout my life and can say confidently that I am grounded in working with CBT skills with client.

Psychodynamic

I have had over 7 years experience working with psychodynamic theory in my practice/work and have done lot's or research on psychodynamic theory therapy. This comes up in my individual practice many times.
