Do you feel like some days you are just going through the motions or barely have your head above water? I specialize in helping people understand themselves better so that they can actively work towards healing. I am passionate about helping individuals that struggle with anxiety, traumatic events, perfectionism, overthinking, fear, life transitions, and faith based concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will review your intake questions and gain a better understanding of your therapeutic needs. We will get to know each other better and work together to set goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have specialty training in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I really enjoy helping people break through the cycles of shame, guilt, and perfectionism.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

If your struggles leave you with questions and doubts about yourself, your future life path, and your worth or there are memories from your past that you just can't seem to overcome...then therapy may be the perfect next step for you. Together we will work to unpack your struggles and find the best version of yourself in your healing. I would love to hear your story and to see if therapy with me would be a good fit .

Trauma Informed Care

As a trauma-informed care therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals who have experienced trauma. With a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on the mind, body, and spirit, I approach therapy with empathy, sensitivity, and respect for each person's unique experiences. Through trauma-informed practices, I empower clients to regain a sense of control, build resilience, and embark on a journey of healing and recovery at their own pace. My goal is to foster trust, validation, and empowerment as clients navigate the path towards healing and reclaiming their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help my clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that could be causing distress in their life.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

In sessions, I utilize CPT to by guiding clients through understanding and challenging negative core beliefs related to trauma in order to heal and create a new narrative for their life.

Compassion Focused

I have learned that compassion for self has to be present in order for healing to take place. I have utilized and found compassion focused therapy beneficial with people who are prone to self-criticism and shame.
