Hello! I am an independently licensed social worker practicing in MA. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor of Social Work in 2018 and went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Smith College. I currently work with folks experiencing a wide array of mental health concerns including addiction, depression, anxiety, psychosis, suicidal ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session, I will ask you some questions about why you are seeking therapy, how long your concerns have been going on, and what you are looking for in terms of support. Our first session will also be your opportunity to ask me questions about my experience and determine if you feel like I am the right fit for your needs. Together, we will make a treatment plan that is tailored to you and will be the guide for our work together.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having six years of experience in residential and crisis settings, not much rattles me. I can hold your emotional experiences without becoming overwhelmed or feeling like you are "too much." Additionally, while I take my work seriously, I have a sense of humor and am open to laughter during sessions when it is appropriate.
